Beaver Creek Nature Area
The Beaver Creek Nature Area offers a unique setting for recreation and outdoor environmental education. Wetlands, riparian areas, fields and forests drape the landscape on a 900-acre tract that has been developing for nearly 15 years.
The Alliance for Wetlands and Wildlife, a local watershed organization, has acquired and maintained the area for public fishing, hiking and environmental education.
The education setting is complete with pavilions, hiking paths and an indoor classroom. For scheduling information contact the District's Office - 814-297-7811. The pavilions are reserved for education/community events only. No requests for personal use (reunions or wedding receptions) will be granted. Beaver Creek is located on Route 208, west of Knox, in Clarion County.
